WSA and ASTA Turf and Forage Convention begins!
I flew into Kansas City this weekend to attend the 125th Western Seed Association Convention. It’s crazy to think this meeting has been taking place since the 1800s! I met a super nice man when I checked into the hotel named Glen. He’s been in hospitality at this hotel for 40 years! He’s a wealth of information, so helpful and he loves seed people. How many years have YOU been coming to this historical meeting? Come tell me your story! I’ll have booth space on the trade show floor and I can’t wait to talk to you.
I had a little time on my hands yesterday afternoon, so I visited Arrowhead Stadium and may have gotten a little excited about Chiefs Kingdom! I also had a meal at the original location of Fritz’s Railroad Restaurant. They deliver your food on a model train track that runs above your head and then lowers the food to the table. There’s a lot of fun things to do in this city that is so deeply connected to our industry and to agriculture.
I really hope to see you here and shake your hand!
